Incident Report: Operation Teddy Rescue

📄 Incident Report:
Operation Teddy Rescue

Date: Friday, June 6, 2025

Time: Approximately 14:00 BST

Location: Undisclosed warehouse, Surrey

Reporting Officer: Sergeant Snuggle

Case Number: WF-060625-TB

Summary:

At approximately 14:00 hours on Friday, June 6, 2025, the PalmerWebb Limited logistics team encountered an unexpected situation while retrieving merchandise intended for distribution at the upcoming Warlingham Fair on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Blanchmans Farm Nature Reserve.

Details:

Upon arrival at the storage facility, team members discovered that the shipment of promotional teddy bears had been inadvertently secured behind a series of stacked crates labeled "Top Secret: Do Not Open." Initial attempts to access the merchandise were thwarted by an overzealous security system, which mistook the team's efforts for unauthorized entry.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the team initiated "Operation Teddy Rescue." Utilizing a combination of strategic crate relocation and gentle persuasion (including the promise of a prominent spot at the fair), the team successfully negotiated the release of the teddy bears without incident.

Outcome:

All teddy bears were accounted for and are currently undergoing a thorough debriefing and fluff inspection to ensure they are fair-ready. No injuries were reported, though several team members required a calming cup of tea post-operation.

Remarks:

We at PalmerWebb Limited commends the logistics team for their swift and creative resolution to the situation.
Attendees of the Warlingham Fair can look forward to meeting these brave and cuddly survivors on June 21st.
