In the early hours of the morning, at around 4:00 AM on 22nd October, one of our engineers had their PalmerWebb Ltd van broken into outside their home address.

The incident was captured on CCTV, showing two individuals targeting the vehicle and stealing valuable tools and equipment essential for daily work.
This is not only a frustrating setback for the member of our team involved, but also a stark reminder of the ongoing issue of tool theft affecting tradespeople across the UK. These tools represent years of investment, skill, and commitment — and losing them impacts both the engineers personally and the customers they serve.
We’ve taken immediate steps to support our engineer and ensure the continuity of service for our clients. The incident has been reported to the police, and we’re working closely with them to share all available CCTV footage and evidence.
If anyone recognises any suspicious activity or has information that might assist the investigation, please contact us.
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out in support.
We’ll continue to stand together as a team and community.
